On this week’s Friday Finds:
10 Ways to Dress Up and Improve a Frozen Pizza: I don’t usually eat frozen pizza because I find the quality and flavour a bit suspect but the next time I find myself in a bind, I may give some of these improvements a try! One additional tip I have for improving a frozen pizza is for those of you who own pizza stones: if you cook your pizza on the stone, the crust also crisps up nicely as the stone draws out all the moisture from the bottom of the pizza.
Note: this pizza wasn’t frozen but maybe with the mods from the article, your frozen pizza may taste just as good!
Oatmeal in a Jar: I used to eat oatmeal a lot but my consumption has declined to 0 in the past few years. That being said, I had been thinking of reintroducing oatmeal into my diet and stumbled across this article on an easy way to make oatmeal without needing to measure anything and almost zero effort required. You do need to set aside some time to boil the water and let the oatmeal soak though. I think I’ll give this a try for my weekend breakfast.
