@Honest – Compared to some other places (hehe…Po King), I did not find the service at Sushi Garden to be very terrible. It is brisk and of course is not comparable to the fancier establishments around, but you are right in that you get what you pay for and I think the service I get at Sushi Garden is fair. That being said, I hope you are able to find another sushi restaurant that better suits your tastes and expectations.

WORST SERVICE !!!!!

What you pay will be what you get —

Food is ok and inexpensive but you will get the worst service.

Trust me, the service in this restaurant is the worst one in town, the waitresses will treat you like dogs and totally out of respect.

Don’t ever try go there unless you believe you have the best temper on earth or in the best mood of your life that day, otherwise, you will be driven crazy by those ladies.

I have never tried the Alaska roll at Sushi Garden b/c I always just assumed it was the same as the other places. But now you have piqued my interest…I will have to try it out the next time I am there!

Sushi Garden is my absolute favourite in all the lower mainland for sushi… good thing I live close by it My fave roll is the Alaska roll — they do it differently than anywhere else I’ve seen and it’s to die for. Instead of the salmon being on the inside of the roll, it’s on the outside, on top of the roll, and the inside of the roll is lots of avocado goodness, but the best is that it’s topped off with a great onion tangy sauce! yummm…
